Public Alert System has been developed to help Police and Fire Departments, Schools, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Operations Centers, Dispatch Centers, Lifeguards, Volunteer Organizations, National and State Parks and Recreation Facilities, Security Agencies, Homeowners Associations and other Community Organizations, notify thousands of participating community members quickly of significant incidents such as missing persons, school emergencies, disasters, hurricane updates, suspicious activity, environmental and weather emergencies, wildfires, dangerous marine life, special events and other important notifications.
